
Elizabeth Frederick as Katie
Liz Frederick is a graduate from the University of Southern California where she studied Theater and Psychology. Liz moved out of Los Angeles to pursue her acting career in the Bay Area. She has She has played Julia in Fefu and Her Friends by Maria Irene Fornes as well as performed in The Vagina Monologues in Ireland. Liz is currently in a production of My Children, My Africa by Athol Fugard and is excited to participate in the short film May-August.
Tabitha Ward as Tess
Tabitha has been predominately a stage actress performing in several local community theatre productions all across Sacramento over the last decade. Including: Garbeau’s Acorn and Oak Children’s Theatre: Elly nominated production of “Sleepy Hollow”, the early years of Big Idea Theatre, playing dual roles “Dr. Pinch” and “Luce” in the Comedy of Errors, and several productions at Folsom’s Free Fall Stage, some of her favorites being “Queenie” in The Screwtape Letters and “Ms. Bates” in Emma.
Tabitha has only recently begun to branch out into film but has already been a part of an exciting and promising new web-series, “RELLIK” shot right here in Sacramento and awaiting distribution. She will next be seen as “Hailey” in Night Out, an official selection of A Place Called Sacramento Film Festival, currently in production and debuting in October 2015. Tabitha is extremely excited to be playing the role of “Tess” and to help bring this unique and refreshing love story to life!

James McCammon as Michael
Jimmy McCammon is an actor with an extensive background in theater beginning in 2005. You may have seen him in one of the titular roles in “Antony & Cleopatra”, or as Iago in Othello. He has also branched into directing theater, including “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” and “Waiting for Godot”. In “May Through August”, Jimmy plays the character of Michael.
Mike Betancourt as Trevor
Mike Betancourt is an intense, energetic and animated stand up comedian. He has a colossal personality that instantly connects with the audience. With his incredible way of changing voices and creating characters the crowd latches onto his every word. Mike's charm makes his twisted and controversial topics entertaining. He makes his way to the stage as if he is ready for battle.
Being a Gemini has it's perks because his dual personality gives him the ability to be an actor. He recently won Best Supporting Actor at the Sacramento Film Festival 10x10 challenge. He also produced a short film that won the Audience Award at the Life Fest Festival and has been seen in local commercials and has appeared numerous times on Good Day Sacramento.
Being a Gemini has it's perks because his dual personality gives him the ability to be an actor. He recently won Best Supporting Actor at the Sacramento Film Festival 10x10 challenge. Mark Ludwig as Mr. Douglas
Mark Ludwig is a Carmichael based actor with a huge background in theater, performing in such productions as “Much Ado About Nothing”, “A Streetcar Named Desire”, and “Richard III”, amongst others. He began film work in 2014, starting as a PA on “Red Light” and moving into featured extras and supporting cast. Mark looks forward to his role as “Mr. Douglas” in the short film, “May Through August”.
Carolyn Gregory as Nora
Carolyn Christine Gregory is known for her work in Investigation Discovery Channel’s “I Almost got Away With It” , HBO’s, “Looking” series and" America's Court With Judge Ross". She has also acted in 4 students films and in many educational industrials for Kaiser and 14 credit unions nation wide.
You may also have seen her grace the stages in Sacramento and Roseville, where she was a theater performer for over 18 years. Her credits include; Allison in, “Sorrows and Rejoicings”, Potipher’s wife in, ”Joseph”, Mavis in “Murder Room”, Lucille in , “Dearly Departed”, Mrs. Kirby in ,”You Can’t Take It With You” and several operas including ” La Boheme”, “The Merry Widow”, The Flying Dutchman” and many more.
